It's that time of the year again.Whilesummer vacationsmay still be in full swing,retailersare gearing up for back-to-school shopping.
According to a July 2013 survey of over 1,000 consumers conducted by consulting firm Deloitte, both parents and kids get most of their back-to-school shopping ideas from word of mouth. And despite the fact that more respondents are searching online -- 36 percent in 2013, up from 24 percent the year before -- discount and department stores are still overwhelmingly the top shopping destinations.
