The communications group has surveyed 134,000 consumers around the world about how 700 global brands impact their lives for its annual Meaningful Brand Index. It looks at how the brands measured up in several areas of well-being, including health, happiness, financial stability, relationships, community and others. If considered as a stock portfolio, the 25 most meaningful brands in the world outperform thestock marketby 120 percent, the report finds.
Google is the most meaningful brand in the world, according to the report, followed by Samsung, Microsoft, Nestle and Sony. The infographic below lists the top 10 brands and highlights the connection between brand strength and revenue.
