One aspect of the changes thatinspired some debatewas Etsy's evolving definition of what it means for wares to be "homemade." The company wrote on their guidelines page, "sellers create their handmade items in many different ways. Partnering with an outside business is okay, but we'll require you to be honest about how your items are made."
Since the last town hall, Etsy has made some additional feature modifications, offeringpush notifications和中断他们的列表视图(的能力see search results in a list rather than a gallery) and market research tools, citing infrequent useof both.
In announcement about Tuesday's meeting in Etsy's forum, admin Rob White noted "There will not be any news at this town hall as big as the new policies we unveiled last October. This event will focus on the broad themes of making it easier to run your business on Etsy, and how we plan to help you do that this year!"
