This Entrepreneur Always Looks for 'Good Bones' When Searching for Retail SpaceFollow us on a tour of Blind Barber's new spot in Highland Park, Los Angeles.

Having opened up six locations across New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, Jeff Laub knows a thing or two about working with an agent and scouting out the best retail space for his companyBlind Barber, a hipster barber shop for dudes, fused with a cafe/lounge.

Most importantly, Laub says the space needs "good bones." That includes "unique fixtures or elements of the space that we're taking over that can be utilized and help tell a story."

At his newest store in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, two original details that helped seal the deal were the exposed brick walls and 100-year-old oak floors. "Finding this was a pure gem," Laub says.
