Nix Mini 2 Color Sensor

The product is very easy to use. The colors they suggest are amazingly close if not spot on! I look forward to continuing to use this at my new home where we will need to match or change colors as we become inspired.

A very handy device for the DIY’er that needs to touch up or match paint. It has been a very useful purchase.

Although I don't have an immediate need for this product, I was intrigued with an inexpensive device that could accurately identify the color from any surface. Upon receipt of the sensor, I tested the device on wall colors in several of my rooms, the color of my cars and even some painted furniture. It was amazing how fast it responded. But more incredible is that it identifies the primary color mix, as well as matching probable product equivalent at numerous paint supply stores. This sensor should be quite valuable in matching an existing painted surface that has aged and is now somewhat faded, to a paint that more closely resembles what appears now on the wall!

Very effective - tested on known painted interior wall. And the app is very easy to use. Definitely recommend for DIY.

I recently purchased the Nix Mini Color Sensor V2 and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The ease of use of this device is incredible! Several of the interior rooms that I painted 20 years ago were in need of some minor touch-ups. However, the only thing I remembered about the paint used was that it was Behr paint from Home Depot. This device was spot on in selecting the correct Behr paint colors. This device has already paid for itself since I didn't need to repaint the entire rooms.
