This is the remote Apple should have shipped with the Apple TV. It works wonderfully! Arrow buttons instead of a frustrating touch pad made all the difference. We purchased the AppleTV 4K when it came out, but literally never used it because the remote was so terrible. Instead, we bought a FireTV. This remote has literally renewed my interest in the Apple device! It's a cheap fix. Minor drawbacks: IR only (no Bluetooth), and the square top edge is sharp to the touch

After initially finding the remote to not work out of the box, I found a factory reset of the Apple TV unit fixed that. Unfortunately, that meant re-installing all the apps and going through each one to re-login, etc. But, worth it in the long run as the remote now works great! If I wanted to nit-pick, I would ask for the directional part of the remote to have raised nubs or a more definitive feel for navigation. I have to constantly look at it to use the arrows as they feel exactly the same..

Much easier and less frustrating to use than the remote that comes with appleTV. I love it. I'm so glad I found this product.
