The first trailer forThe Circle,the film adaptation of Dave Eggers's2013 novelabout a young woman who gets a job at mysterious and powerful Bay Area tech company -- it's not Google, but it's notnotGoogle -- dropped today.

It begins with off-beat interview questions and office perks and quickly morphs into something more sinister.

Tom Hanks plays The Circle's enigmatic founder, and Emma Watson is the new hire at the center of the interconnected intrigue. Karen Gillan (Doctor Who) andJohn Boyega (Star Wars) play her co-workers.

The film comes out on April 28. Check out the trailer above.
