2009年,石匠给n started ablogwhile she attended college as a passion. Blogging was not only a way for Mason to share her thoughts, but it led to interesting opportunities and conversations. Once the blog picked up, Mason was receiving calls from editors around the globe.
Working as a contributing writer for publications, a brand consultant and a fashion stylist, Mason left her nine-to-five job at a design firm to go out on a path of her own. She turned blogging into a business and used her website to brand herself and create an authentic voice.
Mason emphasizes the importance of finding your own voice and identity -- calling them your "greatest assets" that will differentiate you from others.
With all of the bloggers and influencers of today, there can be much competition and challenges in this area. So her advice for aspiring bloggers is to not compare yourself to others and to define success on your own terms.
