Ashton Kutcher can add "product engineer" to his resume.

Thehighest-paid actor on televisionwill help develop and market Lenovo's Yoga line of tablets, according to an announcement released Tuesday.

The actor-tech investor's duties for the company include input and decision-making on design, specifications, software and usage scenarios.

"Ashton Kutcher's authentic, creative appetite for technology and keen consumer insight combined with our innovation engine make this a very natural and powerful partnership," David Roman, Lenovo's chief marketing officer, said in a statement. "This partnership goes beyond traditional bounds by deeply integrating him into our organization as a product engineer as we look at developing the next wave of products."

The first Lenovo ad featuring Kutcher is alreadyavailable online.

Kutcher has been heavily involved with the tech world, having invested in companies such as Skype, Foursquare, Airbnb and Warby Parker, among others. But he isn't the only celebrity to join up with a major tech brand; Lady Gaga is a creative director at Polaroid and Alicia Keys is a creative director at Blackberry.

Lenovo acquired IBM's personal computer business in 2005, and back in June officiallyopened a manufacturing facility in North Carolina. The company has grabbed headlines in the past after the company's CEO, Yang Yuanqing, donated his bonus to the company's employeestwo years in a row.
