Say hello toRiver Street Sweets • Savannah's Candy Kitchen. Founded in 1978, this Georgia-based, family-owned business has been franchising since 2015 and is looking for new franchisees all over the U.S.

"We're the complete sweets package," Stan Strickland, River Street Sweets • Savannah's Candy Kitchen president, says in the video above. "There's really nobody out there doing what we're doing."

The company makes and sells a diverse lineup of delicious candies, ice cream and gift packages in locations that are made to look like old-fashioned candy shops. But there's no need to feel overwhelmed if you're not a captain of confection. Becoming a River Street Sweets • Savannah's Candy Kitchen franchisee means attending a 21-day-long training program at the company headquarters in Savannah, working with executives on-site at your own store for seven to 10 days and having access to online training—whenever you want or need.

While products like its pralines, saltwater taffy, hand-stretched peanut brittle and homemade pecan pies virtually sell themselves, Strickland says the real key to running a successful River Street Sweets • Savannah's Candy Kitchen is top-notch customer service.

"The most important thing new franchisees need to know is who runs their store," Strickland says. "It's their customers. …You need to learn how to listen to your customers, and that's what we know how to teach you."
