Once wearable tech was the domain of businesses, military forces and medical professionals. People used for strictly professional purposes. However, now that the times have changed, wearable tech has seen a shift towards the private customer market who asre as much interested in them as any professional person who wants to keep up with his emails would be.

With products such as smart glasses, smart watches, hearable, fitness and health trackers or even smart jewellery and smart fashion, wearable tech is becoming increasingly popular. They hold so much promise because they provide a hands-free way for employees to engage in real-time conversations and at the same time convenient and fashionable.

On such brand in this domain is GOQii that offers a wearable fitness band paired with remote personalized coaching. One of the few firsts in this business, GOQii raised funding in 1999s when no one knew what investors or VCs are. Speaking about the wearable tech founder and CEO of GOQii, Vishal Gondal said, "We combine a wearable tech with real fitness coach. The wearable market market is going to zoom. A lot of data is going to be captured and this is where GOQii comes in where we take this data, analyse it for you and then tell you what to do. We have helped disrupt the health and wellness industry of India."
