Change Is In the Air

A former狗万官方employee and longtime friend justbecame the editor of a popular decorating magazine. In herinaugural editor's note she recalled her"change-phobic" past and the day a co-worker (that wouldbe me) left a note on her desk simply saying, "Change isgood."

If you're a regular reader of狗万官方, youlikely have already figured out the reason I mention change. Thisissue looks different--very different. Several months ago, I had afairly short conversation with Carrie Fitzmaurice,狗万官方's publisher, and Lisa Murray, director ofmarketing, about tweaking狗万官方的看,touchingit起来。但后来我recalled the advice my grandfathergave my mom many years ago: "If you're going to dosomething, don't do it halfway." I realized that ratherthan wade in, we should just take the plunge.
